While using ‘s’ in a verb, if the last spelling of the verb
is o, s, x, sh or ch then use es instead of ‘s’
For example-:
|
1)
Go – Goes 2) Pass – Passes 3) Tax – Taxes 4) Wash – Washes 5) Watch – Watches 6) Teach – Teaches |
And if the last spelling
of the verb is y then we will use es by changing y to ‘I’ example something
Like this-:
|
1 Try – Tries 2) Study – Studies 3) Carry – Carries |
And if there are vowels
before y, then y does not have I then ‘s’ is used example some kind of
|
1 Say – Says 2) Clay – Clays 3) Ray – Rays |
